  • Skyline GT-R FTW!!!

  • @sp001in Actually, you are wrong. In 2003, Nissan released the Skyline 350GT (in USA, it's Inifiniti G35). In 2007, Nissan released the GTR. The president of nissan stated in 2003 that the skyline name would be located with nissan's luxury line while the GTR name would stay with the racing aspect. The first Skyline GTR came out in 1969 as the Skyline 2000 GTR and the last in 2002 as the Skyline R34 GTR Nismo Z tune. It was seperated after that. New GTR is NOT a skyline at all.

I can promise you I wasnt talking about YOUR cars or YOUR personal experience with them. You may well have owned 2 unreliable BMWs without that having any relevance to BMW in general.

Whats wrong with these faked Nurburgring laps is first... That they are fake. Secondly... Ferrati, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Aston Martin... NONE of the big names conduct high speed benchmarking at the god damn Ring except Nissan and the americans. This is a largely american contemporary myth.

  • @Janusha Yes I'm not kidding, you referred to the US MARKET, and I PROVIDED YOU WITH THE US MARKET FIGURES. I've owned 2 BMW's, they were the least reliable cars I've ever owned, an E46 330 CI Coupe and an E92 I just got rid of. Get your head out of the sand. You referred and read a little before you spurt your opinions, which are just that, everyone has one, just like an asshole. However I provided numbers. What's fake about a Corvette being so fast? The era of "German Domination" is over.

  • @BrawndoScream

Acura, Infinity, Luncoln... LINCOLN ??? Your idea of upper market cars might differ somewhat from what we refer to as upper market. A Lexus is uniquely an american bling-thing and anywhere else where we just see it as a Toyota with some spit shine to it. Im not saying the GT-R is shit... Ofcourse its amazing. But christ.. You cant eat that Nurgurgring stuff without questioning. All those fake Cadillac, Corvette, Viper laps. Atleast Nissan arent denying heavy mods.

  • @Janusha Lexus outsold BMW for 11 consecutive years in the USA until the tsunami. Don't forget Acura, Infiniti, Lincoln etc. Please check your numbers before you pullet hem out of nowhere. The GT-R is for real, you should get over it. Try one, pretty sure you'll be impressed.

  • @BrawndoScream

BMW and Mercedes own pretty much 50/50 of the upper market saloon cars in USA. I dont know what more you could expect them to do. When it comes to these Nurburgring laps. The Ring is a closed down race track. A test track for mainly german cars, a tourist attraction and some times novelty races are held. This idea that its some kind of "international benchmark" is an all american contemporary myth. These runs are done with cars that DO NOT represent the showroom cars performance.

  • @Janusha This video is not a stunt. Exotics still have a place in this world, they just are not dominating in terms of performance anymore. Same sad reality is facing BMW, they do not dominate the sporty sedan market anymore. Their cars are not reliable, overpriced and their service sucks. And this is coming from me owning E36, E46 and an E92 i just sold to get , yes, a RICEY bone stock 350Z HR 2008, way more fun, and I can walk into an auto zone to get my parts, if, one day, something break.

  • @BrawndoScream

Nurbugring is bullshit. Nissan started all that crap back in the days when they wanted to market their Skyline in Europe. They noted there was no "production" record at the Ring so they tweaked the shit out of a Skyline, hired a Ring driver and duly posted the worlds first 8 minute lap. Today they are back with the GT-R and in USA they target the Corvette because quite frankly USA offers nothing else that can be compared... However. These Ring runs are media stunts. No more.

  • @10evilmonkey01 It's actually called another language. Bonjour, hello, buenos dias.. You know? These comments are usually made by people dreaming about those cars but they can't afford it, because of mentally that like.

  • @Janusha Calling the GT-R a ricer makes you sound really ignorant. No matter what is your favorite type of cars, American Muscle, Italian Supercars, Japanese etc, calling the GT-R a ricer is just pure ignorance. It's in the 10 stock cars on the Nurburgring. I know it's hard to accept that a sub 100K USD car can kill Italian Exotics, but that's the 2012 truth.
