This video is a continuation of my attempts to practice some of the more easily mastered basic pole moves. These were recently catalogued in a video tutorial put up by Karol on her Redke71 channel. You will notice this video skips many of the spins--like the chair--because I have done them in earlier videos.
I am trying to figure out a way to put some of the spins together with some music. I really don't understand the whole cat and mouse game with music on You-Tube. But I've read that they have a partnership with (STUB) and with (STUB) and (STUB), so supposedly you can attempt to upload their stuff through the filter and if it passes, then you are OK unless the company later wants it pulled down (like maybe they don't like my dance skills--or they want to put the song in the next Batman sequel?, LOL!
So it feels goofy to go to the Record Store and look for music by the itsy bitsy tiny print on the back intead of picking music you like. But I found a nice collection of 80's new wave music and the label is (STUB)--one of the partners. And one of the titles is "You spin me round..." Is that a good song? I've never heard of it--and that's supposedly my decade! Well, really, it was the seventies!
I also checked out the public commons site--and found some really bizaare reggae clicker tracks. They are downloaded to the computer. I have a remote FM transmitter with a 100 foot range and I think I can radio link the audio the 60 feet into the pole room and pole inna reggae stylee!
Enough rambling! Hope you enjoy the latest spin library.
Again my sincere thanks to Karol for her comprehensive encyclopedia of moves--and to the many other polers whose kindness, support, and forebearance of my very slow progress I very much appreciate!
Thank you all!
Joel

@mobyshaker Thanks, Mobyshaker! I'm not nearly good enough to teach...but Lian Tal (whose channel name is LIANTAL) owns Body and Pole in New York has worked with some A-list models at her studio in Manhattan, getting them ready for photo shoots involving aerial skills and photography. In LA, I'd recommend Leigh Ann Orsi Reilly, who was a television actress and teaches pole at the studio she owns, "Be Spun." The current national pole champion, Alethea Austin is a professional photographer...

@Poledancefan who works at Be Spun also. She specializes in erotic photography and artistic production work, she is an excellent private coach and show business professional. In Florida, I'd recommend Allison Cox...she is a professional aerialist who teaches pole and is also familiar with photographic and commercial TV production and runs her own web-site. They are all easily searched on Facebook under their real names as they are public figures and professional world class coaches and teachers.
