You are correct this is the 1st resurrection
the bible speaks of 2 resurrections and the 1st one spoken of is in 1 Thess.4
there is no rapture.

@platformzero You're right! Good to see the truth spreading as a ripple in a pond going out in all directions! I 've been challenging this "Left Behind" faiytale, urging believers to read for themselves for over 20 yrs. I argued with people for a lot of years, with little success. But as I urged them to simply disregard what is popular, and read it themselves, the scriptures argue for me. The bible says over 20 times the wicked are REMOVED, the righteous REMAIN!! God Bless

2 Thess 2:1 (KJV) says: Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him.
I think we should call the actual event, the one that is mistaken for the rapture, the "GATHERING" or the "GATHERING TO JESUS".
2 Thess 2:3 teaches us that Jesus will not return until the Anti-Christ has been revealed.

Good video. I would like to add something. When the faithful meet Jesus in the air, it is when Jesus is making his second coming. We/they will meet Him in the air -- on his way down -- to Earth. He's not going to just fly down into the cloud level, scoop up the good people, and go back to Heaven. He will fight the nations of the Earth at Armageddon, and establish his Kingdom here on Earth, beginning the Millennium. The faithful will be with Him and protected by Him.

Listen dude, THERE WILL BE A PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE. Search youtube for NWO depopulation plan.

It seems that the idea of the dead in Christ being "raised first" is less an issue of order of resurrection than it is the use of words in such a way as to say to the Thessalonians that they don't need to "grieve like the rest of men" over their lost loved ones. They were afraid that those who had died might be forgotten or something when Christ returns for his church. Paul is responding to this concern. V 14 is essentially saying, "Don't worry. Since we believe this, we can also believe this."

I have been studying this subject lately and now I'm not so sure its gonna be like the movie left behind at all. I think alot of people who go to church; just listen to what the man behind the podium says without studying for themselves what it REALLY says. 2 Timothy 4:3 "for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine"... I was told that Scofield started this "rapture" doctrine. BTW what bible trans. are you using? Thanks

i read and study the kjv primaraly, but used to compare with other versions, but when i found out where the translation of all the revised versions came from, i only read and promote the old king james, the niv leaves out 68000 words and changed lots. i completly believe that the old king james version is the only complete and trustworthy bible in english.
But yes i agree that modern preachers withold from reading scripture in context, meaning not just one verse,
God bless

It says those who are dead in Christ will rise first not non believers - the dead in Christ and believers are resurrected in the twinkling of an eye. PLease watch the Chuck Missler series on the jewish wedding model as this addresses so much of what you are saying. We go to the marriage supper of the Lamb not just the clouds

'It says those who are dead in Christ will rise first not non believers - the dead in Christ and believers are resurrected in the twinkling of an eye.'
We never said non believers will be part of the dead rising 1st, we clearly said those who died believing in christ will be raised 1st in the twinkling of an eye, we do not disagree with this, No NON believers will be raised on that day, theirs is the great white throne judgment ok. please watch the vid again
