Quentin Tarantino´s movies are so full of these priceless scenes, that you can watch a million times. And in the millionth time, you´ll find another detail you never noticed before.

Not sure if you did, but...

Notice the transition at 1:15 ?

The whole scene went from being, well, "faithful" to downright "comical". Also notice the camera change afterwards, when Walken suddenly looks directly at the camera. There is also a slight change in audio.

Most might just see this as a funny scene, but I think it hides a deeper meaning, maybe.

The part where it gets funny, seems more of a "this is what you want to hear, no ?" fuck you in the face of the viewer. Which is a great idea.

Best scene in the movie in my opinion. I love the way they filmed it to make it look like he's looking directly at the camera making it look lime he's talking to the audience rather than the child. Brilliant.
