Apocalypse Please by Muse
(c) Warner Bros. Records/WMG

Lyrics:
Declare this an emergency,
Come on and spread a sense of urgency,
And pull us through,
And pull us through!

And this is the end,
This is the end,
Of the world!

And it's time we saw a miracle,
Come on, it's time for something biblical!
To pull us through,
And pull us through!

And this is the end the end,
This is the end,
Of the world!

Proclaim eternal victory!
Come on and change the course of history!
And pull us through!
And pull us through!

And this is the end!
This is the end!
Of the world!

Meaning:
This song is about the end of the world taking place and the fear and panic of people. The song is based on the idea of a religious man preaching the end of the world in the center of the chaos that is taking place. (thanks, chris - manchester, England)

  • I'm going to listen to this on the 21st of December 2012 when the world is supposedly going to 'end'

  • this song should be played during the end of the world when ever that is

  • @GRTrickTip Yeah this song is so epic, its continuity resembles beauty, the piano keys can be felt, I would love to formulate music as beautiful as this within my lyrics and raps. So what would you like to talk about my friend?

  • shut up and enjoy the music ya wankers.

  • This is the end of the world.... I just hope its not this year so we can all hear more of Muse's awesome music :)

  • @merckism you poor dear, fire is but one of the glorious means by which every living thing on this extraneous ball of feculence could be exterminated. It could be nuclear winter, a giant asteroid that produces a dust cloud that blocks out the sun and causes mass starvation, plague, flooding on a biblical scale or a whole host of other cataclysmic events. All I want is to be there when civilization disintegrates like a motorcycle caught underneath an out of control semi speeding down a mountain.

  • @XodinBlood Ahhh... I would like to discuss with you, but what I know, I know in Italian... :/ anyway words can't explain the feeling of this amazing song :')

  • @Gustavomazu Okay, I can't say the big bang isn't the begining of this universe, it could be. But whose to say that the big bang didn't arise out another dimension or world? What about the subatomic exist, or quantum, or possible deeper fragments of existence? From what I see, science is only at the begining of its potential and realizations. With that being said, our current science doesn't have all the answer, and unanswered questions must be found somewhere else for now.

  • @SilverWolf09100 I agree to you to some extent, but the existence of God can be logically conclude based on your definition of God. God being a conscious being with feelings and who demands certain conduct has not been physically proven. But if you have other definitions of God like, God is the collective consciousness of all things, then how can you say God doesn't exist when things do have consciousness? So faith is their to pathe a way to a higher consciousness.

  • @GreenBreakFree modern doctors still use leeches in hospitals today for blood letting and can easily prevent chronic venous congestion during specific operations.
