  • wow 60 bushel beans! what brand of auto steer/gps are u using? does it work well on sidehills? ..that is if you guys have any hills in iowa? ;)

  • I'm getting GPS from a Trimble 252 on OmniStar. The rest of the auto-steer system is custom built by me. It does have tilt correction, but I haven't tested much on side hills. What we call a hill is probably different than what you call a hill.

  • nice vid, ever thought about steping up to a 30'? We just did on our 9600, and it is great, full finger is the way to go! Also chipped the moter as well!

  • Yes, we've been looking at a 30' 1020 with full finger auger as well as a 30' draper.

  • did the auto-steer take all the fun outta running the combine?

  • Of course not.
