UKZ "Radiation"

www.ukzband.com. UKZ is a virtuoso supergroup formed by former 'UK' keyboard/electric violin legend Eddie Jobson with ex-King Crimson stick player Trey Gunn; Austrian guitar prodigy Alex Machacek; former Expanding Man vocalist Aaron Lippert; and German drumming phenom Marco Minnemann.

The 'Radiation' video is the first release from the debut EP which is available now from the band's website and will be released into U.S. retail stores on March 24, 2009.

Actually I love this tune from 3.50 min, when the musicianship emerges with a great talent; instead the 1st part is only an experimental number at the synth, almost resembling the "Crimsonian" sound being characterized by a melody and vocalism that I don't like so much. The instrumental of the 2nd half is remarkable! Even though I prefer the original ensemble of UK in the seventies...

3:38 was like a different experience coming out of NIN. Then the Terry Bozzio kicked in. Loved the guitar stretch but then taken back to the NIN imitation. Come on EJ, you got more to give than this. Not saying this is wrong but I dare you to push the buttons without external influence
