The reason why this Ping Kuen has not Buddhist sitting position is because it's Ping Kuen from Fut San branch of CLF, I would say that is Lee Koon Hung style. The buddhist position would be from CLF from Kingmui, Sun Wui. There is another Ping Kuen form and it comes from Bak Sing. All of them share the same origin.

@jigokunoshinigami Yes, my ping kuen(pen kiun as we call it) is different and i practice Fat Sam's Hung Sing Choy Li Fat

There's even another variant of the Ping Kuen, from the Fut San branch, that's different from this one.
