Jerry is a bitter, megalomaniacal - and now senile - hack. In his prime, he was merely a sillyman who made goofy faces and relied on pratfalls for laughs. Now he has this gross sense of entitlement. Thank God someone finally put him out to pasture.

Jerry Lewis is a jerk.I saw Little Richard do the same thing to the sound man at a concert.He went on and on.Never felt the same about him since.

I second that emotion! I admire his comedic talent (and as a kid thought he was the funniest guy ever) but as a person he totally turns me off due to his ego & mean-spiritedness. Would it kill him to show a little kindness & not berate his staff on the air? Too many people think just because he's raised a lot of money for MDA that he can't be criticized for boorish behavoir. Yes, the man has done a lot of good...but that in NO WAY can excuse his lack of respect for others.

@sweeperistheboss Where are the webmasters censors in all of this mudslinging. I thought you had to agree to disagree civilly without mudslinging. There was a whole list of terms and conditions that you should have read over before signing onto Google. Proper respect for your fellow bloggers was at the top of the list.

I don't believe that what Jerry said was meant as a joke. If he can't hold his temper any better than that, perhaps he should not be hosting this event anymore. An outburst like that on live TV when you're trying to get donations is totally uncalled for.
