  • So glad you are feeling better! I hope it continues & that this week goes good for you, I know it's going to be a tough one.

  • @Kellye812 Made it through this week and it was very tough. The IViG infusion is hard because of the allergic reactions but I made it through it. Now next week is going to be just as busy... ugh.

  • Yup, I get that! Just when I think things are going uphill, someone throws a boulder at me and knocks me down again. But, it's not how many times I fall down that counts, but how many times I get back up. I need help to get back up, but there is always hope. There are so many treatments available to us now compared to the past. You are doing so much better today. Yeeaaayyy!

  • @rivers1anne I hope that me going through this clinical trial for the transplant will bring even more new treatments and even more so a cure for Lupus. I've been knocked down so many times I know I am not getting back up by myself but through my faith.

  • u r doing well Tremia ... u always make me chuckle ...God is good... and u r rite ur body is doin wat its supposed 2 now ... yay ... i hope mine will fight off infection much better too .. God is able ... take care

  • @Livin4Christ83 This is going to be a good year for both of us. Remember what God does for one, He does for another. So I'm looking forward to what He does for both of us!

  • @treappling1 Amen! ...I touch n agree on dat. Well my doc is startin me on a whole new regimen ...he says my kidney disease is completely gone as my kidneys were really bad at one time ..but god is Good ..my dr. wants to hav me on benlysta and get me of of that immuran and 5mg of prednisone ..so i kno it will b a journey but u are my inspiration tremia ...keep going hugs to you <3

  • I'm curious about something...when you say you no longer have Lupus do you mean you're in remission or are you completely cured? Or can in come back in the future? I'm baffled why this isn't considered more often to treat Lupus if it has such good results.

  • Hey sweetheart! Oh yes...sick and tired of being sick and tired! How I relate! *hugs* Thank God you are doing better. Dwayne is right: you are already doing better than you would have pre-transplant. Glad you got through the IVIg okay! How is Dwayne feeling? He's such a wonderful man. My hubby is supportive like that too. Yay for good men! :) Much, much love & God bless! <3

  • @treappling1 Now just over the last 2 days, I've been having some phlegm in my throat which is causing a bit of coughing. I'm feeling less of it everyday, maybe due to the antibiotics I'm taking. Odd thing is there is no fever, no chills just throat irritation. If it continues tomorrow, I'm going to check in the hospital fever or no fever.

  • Me too! Tired of it! I keep reminding myself that the fever is a good sign, meaning my immune system is working......which is good as u know with us chronically ill.

  • @thistlerocks Ok... I didn't need to see the pic! It was more than I thought it was going to be... LOL

  • @hotathlete2 Prior to the transplant when my immune system was suppressed basically the same as yours Dwayne and Sheldon would get sick and I wouldn't. Now after the total suppression from the transplant it has been a different story. I can't catch a break. I'm thankful though this last month of 4 different infections I didn't end up in the ER or the hospital once! Yay me!
