  • Your first assumption isn't quite correct. We need a certain amount of sugar to help the compete burning of fat. As a matter of fact when distance runners "hit the wall" it's because they run out of glycogen to help the burning and use of fat.

    Anatomy has nothing to do with weight loss and calories, it's simply the study of the body. What is so difficult to get about burning more calories than you take in? EVERY human stores fat(calories) in their body for energy. The more calories we store, the fatter we get. The more calories we burn, the skinnier we get. All these bogus calculations like heart rate and fat-zone, whatever, don't cut it. Look at the big picture.

  • You have overlooked Steve's sense of humor! Steve is just trying to convey DO SOME KIND OF ACTIVITY with intensity and do it consistently for results. Stop worring about heart rate, and fat burning zone garbage and just STAY ACTIVE. Eat LESS of what you like and the pounds will come off. It's that simple!!!

  • Here's some truth for the haters. I've been on a mission to lose fat for the past 3 weeks. I've taken pictures, measured with a caliper etc. I see a noticible difference already. And guess what. I don't lift weights. I don't cardio. I get up. Eat, have some coffee. Sit on my ass all day and repeat. And here is what people doesn't seem to get. If you burn more calories than you put in, you're gonna lose weight. Period.

  • Ironic . You need to read a book. Yes A BOOK. a response would be welcome to any of my comments. But i guess you will just block and not address the ignorance and lies. I pity the people who want to make a better healthier life and listen to these videos. You discredit the profession which is rife with people taking advantage of poor regulation , codes and a lack of knowledge. You must be proud
