@neoncupcake It's good to mix soft butter with cream cheese and use that instead of mayo. Then add some watercress also. I think traditional cucumber sandwiches uses butter.

I prefer cream cheese based cucumber sandwiches, as opposed to mayo, but thank you for posting the sandwich tips, they were very helpful!

traditional British cucumber sandwiches are ALWAYS made with very thin bread .. not thick like what you are using there

Hi Cindy!!! I will celebrate my birthday, and this is helpfull. I made a tester of your sanwiches, and I just want to share that I have never taste a sandwich like these ones. They were absolutely fabulous, and a very fresh delicate flavor. The tomatoes ones were really tasty. Thankyou so much!!!!!
