  • Kids these days and in the future will really miss this incredible story. About childhood, not cell phones, but the time when making dirt pies and playing in the rain was all the fun in the world :)

  • When I watched this in theaters, I made so many connections to the monsters in Max's world and to the people in Max's life... and when I tried to explain it to my family, none of them understood. I feel like I saw this movie as an extremely deep movie disguised as a kids movie, even though no one else did.

  • Critics were saying that this movie was too "dark" and "mature" to be watched by kids. Fuck the critics; kids these days need to be fed a bitter sweet spoonful of life lessons. Fuck all these shallow cartoons and shit, this is what the kids need to watch for early enlightenment.

  • this monsters were pulled from second dimension

  • @MusicismemyselfandI I feel the exact same way! It's so much more than just a kids movie.

  • When I was little, I would play in the mud, read books, and could care less what others think. Sadly, playing in the mud is "gross" reading books isn't "cool" and sadly, the whole world judges on how you look.

  • That was a great movie!

  • Max Records and the seven demons

  • veeeeerrrryyyy BORED!!!!!!!!

  • @Mydgetslyr32 because of you i bought the book read it to my six year old sister and bought her the movie she said it was the best gift ever. Thank you

  • Awwww... I remember when I was little and I used to play with my sister and pretended like we were superheroes. Everytime my grandma asked us what book we wanted to read, we wold say, "Where the Wild Things Are!" and after, we would pretend we were Max. Where did the times go?! :')
