Today, the House passed three more key bills to hold federal contractors accountable and crack down on fraud and abuse. U.S. taxpayers are outraged at the massive levels of waste, fraud and abuse that have been documented in large government contracts to well-connected firms, such as the $45 billion in reconstruction contracts in Iraq. Rep. Peter Welch spoke in favor of his bill, the Close the Contractor Fraud Loophole Act, which closes a loophole in a proposed rule so that mandatory fraud reporting requirements would apply to U.S. contractors working overseas as well as to contractors working here at home.

...he came from Vermont. He's well trained for wasteful spending. CONGRESS makes the laws and he can introduce any bill he wants. If someone is STEALING Patrick Leahy - his buddy from VT - can start an investigation! He's in BIG trouble in VT so this will play well back home. Tax and spend is his middle name.

Talk, talk. BFD. All it does is get a small audience on youtube.
But don't expect any change on this or any other item of importance.
The Spineless Democrats won't do anything about it. They never do. Buncha worthless bastards.
"Boo hoo hoo, we don't have the votes!" You have the votes to hold impeachment hearings! But no, can't have an investigation, can't rock the boat, risk your cushy jobs.
Instead, they post lame videos, and continue to rubber-stamp Bush's every action. Fuck 'em.
