Tomb Raider Anniversary City of Vilcabamba 2:43 Speedrun

This is still a bit crappy actually though it improved my last attempt by 12 seconds.

I failed to perform that first air-walk glitch when crossing the gap in that left room. And when I performed the second back-flip glitch at the second door, I drew my pistols out and holster them again, then re-drawing them out again, which was a regretable mistake that wasted about 1.6 second caused by the annoyances from those mean bats. And another mistake that I made is that I killed those bats. In fact, with the new shortcut at the end that was found by LLCoolDave, it's totally possible to survive the bats' bites even if I don't kill them. But, I did, cuz of the worries of failing the last shortcut that I held in my mind. However, after I finished this run, I found it is not so hard to perform actually, as long as I start the jump at the right point.

Anyway, this is not a very good run for me, I guess. I'll make it better later. Enjoy the video.

wait can you please tell me how did you do that at 0: 55 cuz i just cant jump to that platform on normal way like every one do, maybe this way i will make it...

You have to turn FRAPS (the recording tool for PC games) on and set the recording framerate to any below 40FPS. When performing the track, you need to switch the recording mode on by pressing F9. Then FRAPS will limit the framerate to the recording framerate you've chosen, and this way, the back-flip trick is rather easy to achieve, since it requires low framerate due to the strange engine of this heaven-sent game...
