there are a lot of covers and remixes of Erik Satie's "Gymnopede #1" on youtube, but i definitely say that this version does the original justice. keep watching and...

  • ok excuse what the title of the video says, i'll go with what everyone is saying....this is ENDORPHIN!

back when i got alot of these mp3's, there were so many floating around that many times artists did not always get credit for their songs...but as i said, it is more important that the song reaches youtube than the artist be correct, because the artist can always be changed.

  • This is not an Afterlife track either

  • it may not be...

truthfully, i've been getting this lately. to me, it doesn't matter too much, as long as these songs are on youtube...

  • I think it's important that the correct artist gets the credit especially on youtube which has a massive worldwide audience. Thanks for your support of Afterlife though it's really nice.

    Steve

  • i guess you're right. but to be honest, my pc got fried ina storm, so everything else i was gonna upload is up in smoke...

when i get the chance to sit down and look up some of these artist, i'll definitely make the changes (i've done it already a few times if you haven't noticed).

but i do thank you for viewing these cool songs ;)

  • @doomstagg hahahaha coked out Vietnamese Elvis impersonator. they really ought to make a scene like that, at a vegas buffet. with this song and Scotty Nguyen to boot.

  • @calangel I know. Thats what I do. I was parousing satie remixes, and was in a certain mind-state that contradicted this. I happen to think coked out vietnamese elvis impersonator is pretty rad.

  • @doomstagg

oh come on, don't you think you're being a bit dramatic in your description?

this song wasn't designed to be exactly the same as the original. for a lot of people (not including myself), the original is waaay too slow...so some like the increased tempo

  • @ShariGrey Thats what I thought. The mood is totally changed from introspective melancholy surreal classic to coked out Vietnamese Elvis impersonator running through a casino buffet line in slow motion. This shits just goofy.

  • @ravendarksky right?

  • This is terrible. Does it justice??? It is like taking a Picasso and reworking it to be a velvet Elvis.

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
