And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:11-14.

The Good Test - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JiESH...

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Luke 16:20-31

Many believe that these verses are a parable. Please notice that Abraham's name is mentioned 6 times, Moses 2 times, and Lazarus 4 times. If this is a parable, what is it teaching and why didn't Jesus provide the meaning as he did with other parables he gave?

And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Luke 12:4,5.

Thank you for this video, as a Christian myself I find it hard to talk to my non-christian friends about Jesus because I feel I dont want to offend them but then I realised what I am doing is wrong and sinful. God has given me the strength and confidence to talk boldly about Jesus to my friends. Thank you once again for the upload and thank you Jesus Christ. God bless

... Forgiveness is a Human emotion. It wasn't "created" by some desert-wanderer God. I'd also like to add that that's pretty shoddy evidence if you're going to go "JOHN 3:15 SAYS GOD FORGIVES; THEREFORE GOD EXISTS." and act like that's sufficient.

It sounds messed up if it was that way, but thank God it is not that way. Like I said many times: God's universe, God's rules.

Are you seriously that deluded and sunk into your faith that whatever your "God" /Holy Book/Arabic Desert Wanders says/say you just go with it? Think about this. Would you really disembowel a baby and not breathe if you were commanded to by a "perfect" entity? Would you seriously kill an innocent child then eventually suffocate yourself just because you want to serve some higher power's will?

Watch Sermon 4. I explain those old laws in there.

If hypothetically God said that disemboweling babies for sadistic pleasure was ok and breathing was wrong, then disemboweling babies for sadistic pleasure is ok and breathing is wrong. God made the universe, God makes the rules. Don't like the rules? Leave the universe.

How do you know that those are God's views? If what he "says" is right, is right, does that mean that you agree with slavery, beating of non-Israelite slaves, and killing of women who don't scream loud enough while getting raped in the city?

No. He cannot make an immoral decision. What he says is right is right. Yes they have consequences, but if you can get away with it, why not?

    God's views are in bible/

Would have no basis to judge their own action as "Good" or "Bad". It's like punishing a 2 year old child for, perhaps, smacking their parent. They did such a thing because they didn't understand the consequences of their actions or that doing such a thing is "Bad".

If God is all-knowing then he knew upon creating Adam and Eve that everything would go wrong. If God created us imperfect, with his standards set at "perfect" doesn't that set it up right at the start that it's going to fail? I'd also like to argue that if Adam and Eve ate the apple of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, that implys that they didn't know right from wrong beforehand. If they don't know right from wrong, then punishing them is simply cruel. Assuming that they were real, they-

So, you're argument is "He's God, therefore he can do what he wants. I'm completely fine with whatever decision he makes, even if it's immoral." The reason to not commit those things is that you must recognize that your actions have consequences. You have to recognize that doing such things to that person, causes emotional strife with that person and/or physical harm. And how do you know God's views?

Your views don't matter compared to God's. He is the ultimate entity of the universe and he may do what he pleases. If he thinks someone should be eternally tortured, then the guy must be eternally tortured. You made that comparison about how big the universe is. Without God, you are just a speck that does not matter. If so, we should do whatever feels good. Rape, stealing, and assaulting people feel good, so why not do them?
