No, the barriers forming the falls are very delicate. Imagine what would happen if only a small percentage of 1 million ppl coming there took a dip, it would be ruined in a few years time.. It's like when you are in a museum, you can look but don't touch :)

Im from Bihac Bosnia and Herzegovina, this place is like 20 min away from my home town, ive been there and its AMAZING!!!

This place should of gotten more Attention for tourism, its MAGNIFICENT!!!!!

If u're visiting Croatia this is the place you definitely don't want to miss.

The best time for visiting is early spring(lots and lots and lots of water) or autumn (breathtaking colors). There is not so much visitors in spring or autumn.

Visiting in July or at the beginning of August is not very good idea because the place is crowded then. You can barely see anything and, trust me, queues and rude, nervous people are not what Plitvice Lakes should be remembered by :)

i was in croatia only for a short time... i flew from vienna to zagreb awaiting transportation to slovenia......I am going to take the time to visit Croatia in its entirety very soon
