I'm playing Wedding of the Winds on my restored c. 1914 Steinway K upright piano. This is perhaps one of the best compositions that can be played on a band organ. I have heard it played on the 65 key Gebruder Bruder "Elite Orchestra Apollo" organ that played 66 key B.A.B. paper rolls that was on the B&B Carousell in Coney Island. Both the organ and the carousel are being restored. The carousel is expected to be back in operation in either 2010 or 2011. Some of you might be thrown back 40, 50 or 60 years when you might have heard this composition being played on a large band organ while on a horse trying to grab the brass ring.

  • I love the way you videotaped this with your hands, the keyboard, and music brightly lit, and yourself playing from the shadows. Very dramatic, very theatrical. Nice performance too!

  • @tresmurcielagos I recently played "Wedding of the Winds" on a restored c.1905 Mason & Hamlin "AA" 6' 2" grand. It would practically sweep you away since it sounded incredible on that piano.

  • I guess that you mean that it was a great video. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

  • Very nicely done. I have a player piano and a long playing roll of this piece "Wedding of the Winds" Good to hear how well they match your sheet music and your excellent performance.

  • Five stars!!!!

  • Gracias por compartir este vídeo. Un extraordinario vals que le gustaba mucho a mi padre (q.e.p.d.). Felicidades al pianista.

  • Wonderful Music and Wonderful Interpretation
