@TreblePop Not everybody has bad teeth over here, there are 300 million people in the US, and im sure that more than 56 million (number of people living in the UK) have bad teeth. I've seen episodes of body shock where they have been in the US and talked to people in their 20s who had NO TEETH.... yet we don't immediately assume you all have bad teeth, stop basing your stereotypes off Austin Powers and family guy and the occasional person on TV.

PS the comment about Bowie's package is hilarious. Did Billy Bragg say that on purpose? lol

If they were in the US doing an interview they'd probably be sucking up massively about how wonderful America and her music is. And no offense, but British people really should do something about their teeth. British television is incredibly depressing because of all of the people with crooked rotten looking teeth. Is it something in the water?
Anyway, I love Billy Bragg and sort of like Tunstall.

i should also add that it seems like these two are implying the American music is all about American Idol and glammy pop, which for the most part is just awful in my opinion, and its just a completely untrue implication.

I really like a lot of British bands: Beatles, Cream, Stones, Zeppelin, the list goes on. Bowie is cool too. America has produced blues and jazz, which are responsible for most of the greatest music ever played, like a lot of rocks bands. its ok to have a preference, but credit has to be given where its due.

what does is mean anyway?
She loves British music, so she has to sing in her Scottish accent?
If I were French, and I liked Italian music, I should sing in my French accent?
-
I don't hear the scottish either
