Watching a NFL game broadcasted on TV in Niigata, Japan from USA being streamed back to me in the US via Slingbox. Someone in Japan opened up their Slingbox to whoever wants to watch it.
thanks, I will get another set top gox then. I'm guessing that a compatible digital set top box, a power point and an internet connection is all I need. I'm guessing there is no need to have an actual TV there too?
If I set up a sling box in My wife's parents house and then leave Japan. Will we be able to different channels to what her family are watching. Or will this lead to some kind of intercontenental channel changing war which as we all know would ultimately break the family apart :)
@aaron85077 You're gonna end up with a remote control fight since the Slingbox only lets you watch the same channel/video content that's currently on the satellite/cable box that it's connected to. =P

@aaron85077 That's correct. If you're going to be using the set top box only for the Slingbox, then you don't need an actual TV connected to it.
