I backed my car out of the drive, only to go backwards down the slight hill we live on. I then had to leave it there all day as this scandinavian car designed for colder climates that ours could not get up a 1% hill gradient!!!!

  • The problem is not the Saab, but the tyres. You need winter tread tyres for these conditions.

  • don't rev the car... bring up the clutch slowly without your foot on the throttle, really gently and if it's only a slight incline, however icy/snowy it is you'll get up it if you slowly ride it out. it works, honestly!

  • with front wheel drive is better to go up backwards and of corse put winter/snow tires on the car

  • I think the problem here was not the quality engineering of a swedish car (which is essentially a Vauxhall Vectra rebadged!) but the retard driver who clearly is worse than a woman. Saying that - he does look a little bit like a woman and has women's breasts!

  • faggit!

  • agree...

  • lol i dnt think i wud of done it

  • Very true - sensible swedes use studded tyres in winter. Also backing up on a slippery incline in a FWD car is sometimes more effective.
