@Diedrich92 that's the beauty of the binomial nomenclature system of using Latin to assign names for all the different taxonomic groupings of species.
it's the universal scientific language. doesn't matter what language you speak in whichever country, people can still communicate efficiently about the same subject. despite whatever language you are referring to, monkey still does not equal ape.
would you call an iguana a crocodile simply because they are closely related?
