Gret video. I love the question and answer format. Its a good way to pick the Gm/dms mind. Great stuff.

@Helthegrim Ha ! Yes, we do :) It's also a great moment in a game when the realisation is brilliantly RP-ed by a PC and the rest of the party reacts to the information or reveal as they will do. I enjoy seeing that done. Cheers to you for having another go. It sounds like a blast and a hoot. Seriously. Good on ya :)

@23penguins32 yes being the Gm isn't usually what i do but the last two campaigns it's been me running them, this DH one and the Previous WHRP 2nd edition one. Even then Rob was guessing as to what was going to happen, leaving the plot lines to be pretty much not a surprise to the player, but ofc the character still reacts in a surprised manner the time old Character Knowledge vs Player Knowledge conundrum oh how we all know it yet hate/love it when it comes about now don't we?

@RobertJFreemantle Yeah, that would be pretty awesome and good practice for if/when you get more of your DH group on-cam. I'm the type of person who warms up voluminously to a topic and often do not notice drowning out others in my enthusiasm so I understand the issue you mention (although I'm not saying you're necessarily like me in that respect). I have to be very conscious about moderating myself in those cases because I actually am really interested in other particpants' takes.
There's Lory again. Hey ya, Lory ! Sounds you've your hands full again with this lot. Thanks for this, Rob. There's some great advice and technique in this post. Particularly I liked the PC going off tangentially to the 'story path' of the session. To me that is the story, or part therein. It makes for a better game, I think. I like it when PCs do that. Just talking with Gummibako about that on another post. Was a laugh to hear the RP also. Scum nicking it all-Jericus antiquated listening skills

@23penguins32 I like to keep busy, swamped with things to do. It stops me going insane. Mind you, it also drives me insane. Oh well. :P

I really love the vids with you and Lory. Lory's brings a lot of color and it pairs wonderfully with your analytic perspective. As a matter of format, I prefer when you're both on camera and the setting is conversational rather than interrogative.

@boltorange Interesting. I see. I tried to not get on camera because I have the say so very often, I really wanted to hand it over to him to speak. When I have the camera I become a real luvvy. lol.
Ideally a two camera shoot with one on me that I two cut would have been my move.

Great interview! Very insightful stuff. And its also cool to get some of the vibe of what's going on inside of the Gm's head.
