Maybe rap is meaningful. Maybe I'm being judgmental but every rap song I've heard is trash and it has absolutely no meaning. I'm not disagreeing, I was more so just saying that Dave Grohl is so talented that even a song he wrote for shits and giggles has more meaning than most of mainstream rap and even some pop.

i liked this cos of one reason.. it has shown me why dave grohl's songwriting has not evolved in over a score of years!

i'm not slaggin him off for it. no way. good on ya, dave! but it just confirms a fact that i always knew [and why i stopped listening to foos after 'learn to fly']..

i just hope that dave goes beyond this style. homme did, cobain did, vedder [urgh] did [sort of]. i mean, 'pretender' could've been written 1997
