@Kaylawrites yes a wakeboard vest will provide buoyancy but still allows you to move up easier and is lighter and less bulky

Hey i started watching them thanks alot! i'm only 13 and i'm gunna have to go out for the first time this friday... scary huh!? I have a question though.. when you fall what if your legs are on top of your head? I don't wanna drown! cause your feet are stuck and stuff. and is it anything like snowboarding cause i do that... thanks :D

@samj5664 straps are sufficient if you are a beginner and using cable. you can use them behind a boat but they may fall off when you try jumping. they also dont have the protection of boots when you fall
