Chen Xiaomei Heroine of Yue Yue, interview with subtitles

This video is heart breaking to watch as the mother of Yue Yue kowtows to the savior of her child. If it had not been for Chen Xiaomei little Yue Yue surely would of died. I will do my best to translate the Cantonese part of Chen Xiaomei, but my Mandarin is a lacking so I won't even attempt Mandarin parts.

Both drivers are in police custody. The first driver said he had just broken up with his girl friend on his mobile. It is unclear why he didn't see the little girl, perhaps he was distraught over his just then break up. He was caught when he tried to contact the family and offered them money. He was quoted saying.

""When I saw that she was already bleeding, I decided to just step on the gas pedal and escape seeing that nobody was around me,""
He KNOWINGLY and SLOWLY ran over the girl with his rear wheel. This isn't manslaughter, it's attempted murder in my eyes.

The second driver turned himself in after he saw this on the news. It's unclear how the government will deal with the two, but because of the HUGE outcry in China it's likely (in my personal opinion) that the first driver will be executed.

Sadly Yue Yue has succumbed to her injuries. May she rest in peace.

I hate to see a child get into fatal accident and no one will help her. Did the police ever caught the drivers?

Yeah the details are in the description. Both drivers are in custody.. So far no word about any trial or judgement.

@chinesemusicDJ Its good to hear that those two drivers are in police custody. I am glad that they were put to justice and I hope that those two drivers will get punishment for inuring and ignoring Yue Yue lying on the street. Do you think so they may be send to prison or death penalty???

China is known for their death sentences lol.

I haven't heard or seen about either driver. My guess is their probably in jail right now awaiting trial. I'm certain they will be convicted and get either executed or serve a few years in jail + compensation.. A lot of people want execution, but I think they're gonna get like 10+ years in prison. Hard to say.

There are unfeeling psychos in every race. It's terriffying how many people in western countries will walk past a rape or a woman being beaten. The first psychopath in the van had trouble getting the back wheel over the baby but persisted both demons saw her;it was deliberate mowing her down.Poor poor precious innocent baby girl. God help her little mother. What an evil world this is.

Human trafficing is a human issue.. Greedy people all over the world are willing to sell random strangers for some quick money. It's sad a lot of humans are willing to do unspeakable acts just for a bit of cash.

Sure I have sources or I would never bring it up. Just google Child trafficking in RP unstoppable – DSWD. There's a article all about it. People of all ethnic groups face human trafficing for sexual purposes. I don't see why you need to bring it up. You probably fail to see the sarcasm when I responded to joggz1 and how he/she generalised a whole ethnic group, so I threw it back at him/her to see if he/she understand my logic. I have nothing against Filipinos.
