Shaq: Celtics 'play hard,' 'play to win'

(NECN: Waltham, Mass.) - The Boston Celtics this morning formally introduced Shaquille O'Neal as the newest member of the team. They signed the 7'1" big man to a two-year deal worth a little less than $4 million last week.

"I just wanted to be with a great team," said Shaq.

"I look forward to an exciting year," said Shaq.

"I know they play hard, they play to win," said Shaq of the Celtics.

"I think I'll be a good fit here," said Shaq.

"At the end of the day, it's all about winning. Nothing else," said Shaq.

"I'm just glad to be here," said Shaq.

Shaq has played for the Magic, Lakers, Heat, Suns and Cavs.

Shaq has won four NBA titles and three NBA Finals MVP awards.

He is the oldest active player in the NBA; Shaq is 38-years-old.
