I have a lemond bike, a very humble steel [sarthe] frame and yes I got ridiculed from time to time by pro armstrong riders in their carbon bikes .. I still kick their asses on the hills.

Being a cycling fan should motivate you to learn other languages. I've learnt Spanish, French and Italian.

P.S. It sucks that more Americans arent as into Cycling, as it seems like 1 percent of the Cycling vids posted on here, are not in English.

I wish there were more on here that I could understand without having to learn another language.....

I never raced, and I think I only had one ten speed as a kid, but Ive always had a lot of respect for cyclists as athletes.

There are some brutal sports out there, but I dont know that any athlete suffers during competition as much as world class riders.

I admire that.

I used to race bicycles in college, but now I suck bigtime! I have a huge respect for the grand Tour riders.
