you'd better say "base form of the verb" rather than "infinitive verb" beacuse infinitive verbs are always followed by "to". otherwise u'd better say "infinitive without to"

Hi afsalmpm, the verbs you mention are all irregular verbs. I am afraid there is no rule for these. You should get a list of irregular verbs from a book, or the internet and then learn the most important ones. There are not that many and by the look of it you know some of them.
There are rules for using the different forms. For example;
I write a letter every day. (This is present simple)
I wrote a letter yesterday. (This is the past tense)
I have written many letters. (This is present perfect)
