The Topless America Project and friends spend some time in Washington, DC to interview JW Randolph (Legislative Associate for Appalachian Voices) on mountaintop removal coal mining and the current climate of activism on Captiol Hill. While in the area, the team joins a demonstration against mountaintop removal being held at EPA Headquarters by a group of grassroots activists from the Student Environmental Action Coalition. This action was part of a national series of demonstrations at Environmental Protection Agency/Department of Energy facilities across the country.

I lived in the Appalachian Mtns. for three years, and I cannot tell you how it sickened me to see mountain tops being flattened.

i wish you people would realize how many jobs your trying to take away. i hope your willing pay all the salaries. not to mention the food and housing costs and college fees that kid get sent to school on. yeah never thought about that. how about this i'll just take all your money away and see how you feel. you ppl are stupid... and if you really want to see what goes on pay for the 40 hour mine card and get your sorry asses up to the mine and do what they do every single day.

Very little fact in this video. "98% of a community has gaul bladder problems"??? and we KNOW it was all caused by mining practices??? Come on now. Of you're going to lie to lobby for something, at least make it believeable. West Virginia needs these coal mining jobs, so our tax money can support these people in the video.
