RaptoBike low racer trial

My first time riding a recumbent on the road - and a low-racer!

David of Laid Back Ligfiets kindly accompanied me on my normal commute to see whether the RaptoBike would be suitable for Edinburgh traffic and my particular route.

I'm happy to say it was fantastic fun, although riding a recumbent is not too easy, even if you are a good "upright" cyclist.

If the bike was much faster it would probably be illegal!

Its ages since Ive biked in Edinburgh. That was on a road bike. That looks more fun on the recumbent

I got my Raptobike three weeks ago! But I wouldnt have tried my first ride in city traffic!
