LaCie Rikiki makes little sounds like "bit"

Cuando se conecta el disco LaCie Rikiki empieza a sonar dentro del disco un pequeño bit intermitente y nunca se detiene. El PC no lo reconoce. Ya me sucedió una vez y al final dejó de sonar y el led nunca mas se encendió, lo envié a servicio técnico y cuando lo retornaron aún seguía haciendo el mismo sonido.

Too long cable oryginal cable have 10cm.... i try in 100cm and this is weard sound now i try buy cable 30-40cm maby them start.

same here its starts up then makes a scratching sound then stops vibrating I NEED THIS FIXED MY COD4 IS IN THERE!!!

could be this indeed. Try change to another USB port if possible. Are you using any USB hub? It might not get enough power

Es por que tu puerto USB no le suministra suficiente energía. Seguramente porque el ordenador sea un poco antiguo.
