  • Oh, wow.... that is the craziest version of "Twinkle, twinkle" I ever heard! :) And the French words are adorable -- what a cute little love song. With the brilliant flautist and pianist, and Miss Parcells, -- it doesn't get too much better! Thanks for posting!

  • How lovely!

  • One of the most talented and under-appreciated artists ever. she rivals almost any singer. her ah se in ciel and vorrei spiegarvi by mozart are gems.

  • It was my pleasure & honor, really, to have gone to music school with Ms. Parcells. All Betsy (as we called her back then) ever wanted was to sing. Hearing her live, her high notes had that effortless quality, as if they eminated from somewhere else. Her tone had, as one acquantance put it, a quality that was "heart-breakingly beautiful."

  • @breton2 No, she was american, but had a beautiful knowledge about phonetics and diction.. RIP Elizabeth Parcells..

  • @breton2 Yes, her french is very close to perfection... May she rest in peace...

  • Great singing, absolutely.. And what's more, her French is PERFECT !! Is this lady French-speaking ??? Brava !!

  • Oh I have! I'm not doing it with the flute but I do play the flute and I have played the flute part of the duet for someone else, it's just as hard as the singing! It is fun, thanks for the encouragement. I'm singing it in a concert in a few weeks

  • thanks! I'm doing it as a flute and soprano duet, it's really fun.

I'm sure you'll do great, just jump right in
