Wow. I am a science teacher in Scotland and this is very impressive. The Scottish Government has spent millions of pounds on producing a VLE called glow but it falls way short of what 3 free pieces of web software, used in conjunction with each other, can produce. I have endless ideas running through my head right now! The student presenting has also done an excellent job and seems incredibly engaged. Good effort!! Have you finished your dissertation?

Hi and I hope you're still following the comment thread for this video :). I was hoping to find out what screen-capture software you used for this video. I see SymbolEDU has a paid service, so I thought you might be paying for other software, too. Thanks.

We used iShowU HD for the screencast portion of the video. The rest of the editing was done in iMovie.

Hey! This video was very informative and enlightening! Watching this video taught me new ways to use the resources that I use everyday. You are correct by saying that using technology helps keep you organized! I personally do not like having to keep up with papers that can be transferred to a document online. I really enjoyed watching your video and learning different ways to use these resources in the classroom!

I am a student in Dr. John Strange's EDM 310 class at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Strange recommended this video and I am in awe of the young student who presented! She is clearly loving the way in which she learns her lessons. Hats off to her teacher for bringing excitement and engaged learning into this student's educational endeavor! Could you please ask what she charges to tutor? Ha! You both are an inspiration to me as I learn to use technology in my own classroom someday!

You did a great job creating this video. I really had no idea how useful all the social networks actually worked. Seems to me that you have learned a lot by using technology and exploring other sites. Keep up the great work!

Great presentation. I'm a teacher and looking to introduce this tool to my students, after I explore it more myself. Keep up the good work!
