i have a 3rd gen ipod. ok?
so, when i turn it off, it goes into restore mode (itunes connect usb cable). i know i have to re-jailbreak it, but how? do i press make it ra1n when that screen comes up?

no your gonna have to start from scrath restore it connet it and the once you are able to sync it to your computer close down itunes press make it Ra1n and it will automatically find your device and jailbreak it

i have an Iphone 3g 16gb, it was unlocked and jailbroken. without knowing anything about iphone i updated it to 3.1 with itunes. can you please let me know what to do. thankyou

your gonaa have to downgrade if you wana keep your unlock but you can jailbreak in 3.1.2 not 3.1 or 3.1.1
