Dick McDonough was one of the top guitarists of the 1930's. His style was close to Eddie Lang's. He is mostly known for his duets with Carl Kress but he was one of the busiest sidemen of his time and he has recorded with dozens of artists.

  • VERY nice!

  • Don't forget to check out Lonnie Johnson!

  • Marty Grosz still can do this style.

  • What happened to playing plectrum style this delicately? Now the only why to really hear this style of harmonically attuned playing is with the newer fingerstyle players. This is the cats pajamas.

  • Love this! Many thanks!
