Dear Sir,
Thank you for this video, which details procedures not covered in my Haynes manual, which had no mention of the necessity of removing the activation lever. I had been tugging for quite a while before I gave up and found your video. Upon removing the lever, success was achieved. It also aided my reassembly procedures, which were too scantily covered in the Haynes manual. God Bless You!
Regards,
Andy Goetz

@agoetz64 Mr. Goetz,
Thanks for the very kind comments, we are glad it helped you. This application certainly has a hidden technique, but as soon as it is known, not so bad. Andy, I personally struggled for over 3 hours several years ago getting the transaxle off of a Mitsubishi Spyder 3.0L for a similar hidden procedure. It had been previously R&R and they used crow bars trying to get it off. We also have a bulletin covering that car. Again many thanks. Gary

@eredy Please watch carefully starting at 1:58 we show the situation and how to unlock the release fork from the release bearing. You have to remove the release lever from the release fork. We have this info in our instruction bulletin. Gary
