when gerbils go bad

lol not really bad. Naina is my first gerbil and i guess she is just being gerbillish attacking my sleeve for some gerbil reason. running around and playing on my PC desk. i was reluctant to get a rodunt at first because ive been bitten by my own hampsters and a squirrel. however gerbils are such docile and tame critters, naina won me over......

i innitially wanted a kitten.:D

noooo lol. she was just nibbling on my jumper. all gerbils are extreeeeemly  docile and friendly. if you ask me to pick up a mouse or even a hamster i would hesitate, however if you say pick up a gerbil i wouldnt think twice about it.

tho i am sure there will be one out of a hundred thats a rotten egg.....

my gerbils were so friendly, they would leap into my hand as soon as it entered the cage, they would literally jump up half a foot to jet onto my hand.

I have gerbils! ur look a little shiny/greasy - i suggest using chinchila sand baths! it helps it works with mine! xx They will kick it out aswell! x

If it can be chewed, it will be chewed. Its just a basic gerbil law. And they will sometimes bite you softly in the hand when picking them up, if they dont feel like being picked up. When they are fighting and you try to break them up, they'll hang in your finger.

I happened to have the bad luck of getting that one rotten egg out of a hundred lol. One of my gerbils passed away recently so I ended up getting a new pair. One of the new ones bit me a week and a half ago and it STILL hurts! He also bit my friend. I ended up trading him for a friendlier one, but now I'm wary of their little teeth. I've never had a gerbil ever bite me before I got this little guy! My hamster only bit me when she was sick.

Naina is adorable by the way =)
