Each week since 1988 at a busy intersection in Jerusalem "Women in Black" along with other Israeli people dedicated to a peaceful approach to Palestine, gather with signs calling for an end to Israel's militarized occupation of Palestine, including the Israeli settlements on Palestinian land and the siege of Gaza. Video includes interviews with (a) one of the women describing who Women in Black are, (b) a member of the Fellowship of Reconciliation describing what they are doing in the area, and (c) a teacher translating a flier they are distributing.
This video also shows counter-demonstrators with large signs calling for the expulsion of all Arabs from Israel and Palestine.
See next video for the talk at this peace rally by Gila Svirsky, one of the founders of Women in Black.
