To All my fellow Funkateers, We all should be very grateful and overjoyed that We were there Riding on On the MotherShip. The MotherShip Connection, Damn we were funky! For those who were there and still go to the PFunk Show know that being there is unduplicated anywhere. We had the 8 track, cassette, boom boxes, browsing at all the record shops all DC
All The Funkadelic Posters on the lamp posts, I'm thankful for the chance to have blasted off with these super heroes. Long Live the Funk Groo

Here's what makes me wanna puke...let's compare the 120K views to the seventeen MILLION of Justin Bubbles and Lady Ding-Dong!
Just goes to show...be proud in your ability to discern talent and reject mediocrity.

the sad thing is with the exception of no GC in this performance is that kids today have no idea what real concerts were like before the machine went along with corporate sponsorships or people died in the concert here in Indy which is lame country. Too bad suckers!
-
@groundhog713 I stand corrected...thanks....I always like Tyrone Lampkin
-
@freein2339 No. It's Tyrone Lampkin on drums. The guy playing percussion is Larry Frantagelo (another non-black member of P-Funk in its heyday along with Ron Bykowski)

This is the tour that GEORGE didn't appear in....the GLORYHALLASTOOPID tour...

The fact that most people don't know of Eddie Hazel offends me. That's why I educate everyone that I can. "Oh, it's my turn to put a song on? Meet this bad ass guitarist you've been missing!"
-
@hendrixvaughan7090 Clinton annouced at this time he was "retiring" from the stage but continue to produce and direct the Pfunk empire fromthe studio. Fortunately, that phase didn;t last long.
-
@nosyfieldstone I was at this show. George was not there. Uncle Jam records had just been started and George was working on production and other administrative thangs. He was not on this tour and during this night you could hear chants of "we want George" every so often. Although this was a great show George WAS missed. He brings something to show that is special just by his presence.
