How much will President Obama's plans for economic stimulus and other federal spending cost the American taxpayers? The Competitive Enterprise Institute does the math.

  • Well the bailout figures are the official figures they give you on the news, but if you double or triple those then you get the real figures, but don't worry your federal reserve is printing money as if it was gold.

  • We are now in a period in which Keynesian economics will prove itself a failure. The only question is whether the public will understand this.

  • I dont care who was against or for this bill...all of congress is paid of by big banks to push their agenda...we need a revolution to stop this! The American people believe propaganda on both sides which will never lead to progress for main street America! The top 1 percent own the rest of the free world. What are we going to do about it?

  • lmao...

  • I didn't vote for him. The public got duped by all the hype. Just like cattle to the slaughter. It's okay. I don't mind getting slammed by ignorance today. I did the research on all running for the office. Obama is a manchurian candidate. Pure and simple. He's our PRESIDENT NOW. Gotta respect that guile and cunning education. Let's see what he does to further us positively. So far, i'm not impressed. Too many thieves, tax cheats and lobbyists surrounding him. He lied to you already.

  • WE THE PEOPLE are no longer represented by our so called "leaders", 85% said NO to bailouts, NO to illegal aliens and amnesty, YES to securing our borders and yet the dam politicians of BOTH stripes just continue to do whatever they please AGAINST the wishes of the people! REELECT NO ONE EVER!!!! A tax revolt or new American revolution is coming I think!!

  • The thing is, as a customer of a business that is a complete failure, shouldn't you have the right to take your custom elsewhere?

Couldn't the banks have used some of Obama's £500million inauguration fund and leave the common man alone!

  • It just makes me more of a taxpayer.

Furthermore, the bailed out businesses are probably more likely to continue providing bad service or making bad products. So I am paying a second time as a customer when the businesses that I deal with find it more profitable to lobby the government than it is to satisfy customers like myself.

  • If a bank is "bailed-out" using your money, doesn't that make you an investor???

  • damn. even tupac didn't gangsta motherfuckers out of their cash like this.

  • EXACTLY! if you have faith in the system, then let it go. If not, then do away with it. be competitive or die.
