my iphone 3G works with the same ihome he has, but when you get an iphone 4 and use it on the ihome and then try to use the 3G on it, it wont work....anybody know whats going on?

Hi, does the dock charge the iphone? i got the same dock with a iphone 3g and it plays the music but dosnt charge the iphone

No, I bought an iPod Touch 8GB 2g last week and I have the same black iHome this guy is using and I was sad to find out it doesn't work. It does work with the speakers though when you hit the iPod button, but it says on the screen on the iPod "Charging is not supported with this iPod".

it dosent charege on this model, however this is an old model from 6 months ago or later and new models of the ihome will charge the iphone 3g

Actually it does work, you just have to push the ipod button on the iHome, and then it should play music. I just did this recently.

yes, i know, it plays the music but dose not charge it etc
btw ru using the 3g or the old iphone
