@boeingnz i think his review was pretty solid and if anyone grew up watching the Flintstones they should feel nostalgic about the cartoon, not by some 90's adaptation.

Come on dude don't like the cartoon don't watch the movie.
Older people actually like this movie cause the Flintstone is the cartoon they watched when they were growing so its "nostalgic" to them.
But not to the critic here, then he shouldn't review this movie base on that ground.

This movie is so poigniantly unesthetically bad that I watched this review twice.

At 2:20, Halle's line about "Fred being smarter than you thought" is a mistake. Think about it. The scriptwriters fucked up. I mean, since Barney switched his test with Fred's, anyone who wasn't aware of this would assume that Fred is, simply, the smartest employee there. However, keep in mind that Fred is actually the dumbest. The writers forgot to keep up the whole bad-guys -not-knowing-about-Barney's-sw
