  • Reggeton?? For that genre of music the best keyboard workstation is the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Baby Grand Piano. Trust me man, you don't need more than that.

  • @freetrader0000 hahaha I like this comment . No lie thanks you man

  • Which one did you buy?? Or did you buy something else?? I have a Fantom G but I have never played on a Motif before...

  • you wont go wrong with either. The motif and the fantom are both used in many professionals studios. I say just go and use each and see which one appeals more to you. I have a fantom g7 and love it but if i had enough for another keyboard I'd get the Motif. Not because i think its better but because theyre both good and most big tudios have both.

  • Mil veces Yamaha,y mas la serie Motif,es lo mas versatil que he conocido,yo tengo un Mo6 y me encanta, proximamente tendre el Motif XF o el XS,pero si,personalmente prefiero Yamaha...

  • I have both and prefer the MOTIF XS. Sounds are more beautiful

yeah, im a little iffy on a windows set up integratted in a keyboard, great for an all in one and put whatever you want into it, generally, they are much more expensive for the average consumer but if you got the money and it works for you, go for it.

  • @starbabe695 - also 2GB seems like a lot but consider this...a single piano sound from Ivory (which many people consider to be the best sounding) is larger than that...

But they are both different machines and do different things, so it's still up to you to chose which one is right for you...

  • @starbabe695 - "sound content from any source compatible with motif", which is not VSTs..

  • @musiccomputing

not true, you can totally make the motif xf as your own instrument. you can also import 2 gb of ram of your own sound content from any source compatible with motif, including plug ins, and integrate them into the motif. studioblade is a gimmic and going to be very overrated, im pretty sure of that

  • since the early 80's I never saw any of the greats use Yamaha. The fantom is for the person who has time to read and study or has a guy doing the set ups. I play on the road and have no time for that. I'm dating myself yet the mini Moog was so cantankerous I bought 6 of them and got just the right sounds then glued all the knobs down. Thanx Rick Wakeman for showing me that. Believe it or not I'm getting real good results out of the Juno GII think the Mo has great sounds and easy to call them up
