On August 23, 2011 the 5.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia was felt 377 miles away at the Connecticut Science Center. Even some of the visitors could feel the earthquake as they went through out Nature Unleashed gallery (here until mid September).

  • Dear CT Science Center,

    i actually felt it myself in West Hartford, Connecticut. Going through my house i could feel soft semi rough movement around my kitchen and thought i was dizzy. Until, i turned on the t.v. Thank you so much for an update.
