I was fortunate enough to rip on this sled...... The video does nothing for what a rush one gets from taking such a beautiful machine like this for a test run..... The sound is ....... WOW ! .... Once in a life time !

@Rupp440 my friend's had a RUPP when i was a kid...all i remember was that it had a wider seat and wider track than most sleds......but good sled no doubt! just hurt my legs as a kid with such a wide seat.

@quincee33 That would be due to the two modles available back then. They offered a wide track and a narrow track machine.

my dad had oneof these ---- the rupp sprint 440 up here in edmonton alberta , we still have it if your interested in getting another one :-)

My Father (a Rupp dealer from 69-73) had a 600 Magnum like this Sled. He had race it at Eagle River to order it. I remember it was incredibly loud. It had a drip oiler chaincase and need to run on a barrel of Alcohol he bought just for it.. Cool sled!
