Joyce Ivy Foundation Scholarships

The Joyce Ivy Foundation provides counsel, encouragement and financial support to young women in Michigan with the motivation and intellectual potential to attend an Ivy League or equivalent institution but who are hindered by financial challenges or other concerns about traveling away to school.

As one of four distinct assistance programs offered by The Foundation, the Pre-College Summer Scholarship Program provides accomplished high school rising sophomores, juniors and seniors with exposure to an Ivy League academic and residential campus experience that is representative of the undergraduate experience. The Program will:

• Build students' confidence in their ability to thrive at an Ivy League institution
• Provide in-depth exploration of areas of potential study or career interest
• Strengthen personal profiles for the college admissions process
• Provide college credit, if awarded by the summer program
