Only novices think that spreading is a necessary component of good debating. I go as fast as I need to in order to fit the speech into the allotted time. I'm not the 1A, so I don't usually read speeches like this anyway, and it fits into eight minutes without having to spread. AND the evidence was powerful enough to win over 80% of my aff rounds. Why use speed and get it in in four minutes when you can read more comprehensibly and still within the allotted time?

Not rude at all. People not familiar with policy think that I am speaking very fast, when in fact I am relatively slow.

I can enunciate when I want. I'm not the first speaker. I wrote this case, I don't read it in the actual debate. I take the most speakerpoints in most of my debates, I'm a much better speaker than this video would let on.
