Riding on a suburban (Local) train in Bombay!

It's always an adventure in Bombay. Whether you're in a cab, walking, or riding the train. Most of us tend to hang out of the locals which are packed as full of people as possible. Here's looking at the whole scene through my eyes. And I probably should mention that every year a lot of yahoos (such as myself) end up dead hanging out of the train. Dodging the pillars, trains, and projectiles is quite the art! Camera work and life-risked-for-footage by Alok Shah.

And that is why you can't hang out of a bullet train :)

But good luck cramming a bullet train with as many passengers as one of these carry.

I've just seen "Bombay Railway", an excellent documentary from the BBC, watch it if you can. We complain about overcrowded trains in the UK but we nothing on the scale of Bombay.
